What You’ll Be Doing as a Sales Operations Analyst
Clean Power Research seeks a highly motivated, self-driven, detail-oriented Sales Operations Analyst to manage, improve and optimize our sales processes and systems to support our fast-growing commercial environment.
The Sales Operations Analyst will initially report to the Vice President, Sales and Business Development but will operate in a matrixed environment across several teams—Sales and Business Development, Marketing, Finance, and Product Management—to design, implement, and support sales processes and related systems. The analyst will also be responsible for managing, analyzing, and interpreting data to provide insight and support strategic business decisions.
On a day-to-day basis, your expertise will ensure our core processes and systems are efficient, reliable, accurate, and tailored to user needs while delivering key insights to leadership.
The ideal candidate will bring a solid understanding of sales processes and CRM systems from a technical and functional perspective and will be able to recommend and implement changes to current processes as needed.

Travel requirement: 10%. This is a primarily in-office position in our Bellevue, WA office with some flexibility for remote work each week. Remote candidates in Washington, California, New York, Massachusetts, Georgia, Texas, Nevada, and Colorado may be considered.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Collaborate with all teams in the company to align sales processes and systems with business objectives and revenue targets
- Maintain and update company CRM system (currently Salesforce), ensuring data integrity and optimizing workflows
- Provide CRM system administration support, especially related to user permissions, custom objects, reports, integrations, and workflows
- Develop and maintain sales analytics reports and dashboards
- Investigate, recommend, and incorporate relevant external and internal data sources to support market initiatives (e.g., EIA data, RFI/RFP sources, industry reports, PowerClerk program data)
- Design and implement sales process improvements including pricing/quoting tools, contract management systems, and RFP repositories
- Support sales teams by performing operational tasks such as creating renewal quotes with a goal of automating and streamlining repetitive work
- Analyze data to provide insights into the operation, effectiveness, and productivity of our sales processes
- Create and maintain documentation on processes, policies, application configuration, and help-related materials
Who You Are
- Minimum of BA/BS degree with a solid analytical and technical background
- 3+ years of sales operations, account management, or product management experience related to B2B software-as-a-service (SaaS)
- Experience using, managing, and integrating CRM and related tools, e.g., Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, HubSpot, Marketo
- Proven ability to administer and configure CRM systems, including custom objects, flows, validation rules, permissions, and integrations
- Familiarity with automating business processes, report and dashboard creation, and data analysis
- Proven ability to analyze reports and work with large data sets; knowledge of applications of AI in sales processes
- Familiarity with SaaS software business models and sales processes
- Familiarity with the renewable energy and utility industries
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- Superior organizational skills: ability to prioritize, track and juggle many tasks
Pay Range and Benefits
- Base Salary Range: $75,000 to $100,000 annual depending on experience
- Benefits: Performance-Based Bonus, Company Equity Plan
